Jonathan, who best I can tell made his first two comments here at The Ray Area today, wins the first ever “Commenter of the Day” award.  This isn’t super prestigious, because I just made it up, but Jonathan earned it by reading random old posts I wrote during the season and pointing out how Nostradamus-y I was.

Yeah, that’s right, I wrote a post called “142 reasons Crawford’s gamble was worth it.”  I forgot all about it.  Jonathan not only read it, but also pointed out the irony.

Who knew that making fun of Jorge Posada’s incredible career past ball stat would inadvertently foretell the end of Crawford era?

Kudos to Jonathan.

    Wow, that’s cool as hell!

Too bad Posada isn’t a better catcher. If he had like 25 or 30 career passed balls, CC might still be in leftfield at the Trop. I mean, I feel like Stu could foot a $25-$30MM contract. More reason to hate Posada.
