In case you missed it, Seth McClung wrote an op-ed admitting that he wasted his time with the Rays.  Basically, McClung does a nice mea culpa for his sins and concludes with this sentiment:

But I was wrong. I never thought Tampa Bay would turn it around. I didn’t buy into their new way of doing things. I never thought the number-crunching, funky glasses-wearing guy would turn a team that played in an area that looked like a big top with a team and organization that looked more like a circus — into this power house that it is today.

Basically, McClung admitted everything I have said about him for four years.  (Well, he never admitted that he, Toby Hall and Bobby Seay had nightly doughnut-eating contests in Durham.  But he admitted to everything else.)  So, I have to admit that he earned my respect.  I can’t believe he earned my respect, but he did.  What do you think?
