ESPN Stats and Info had a pretty cool note on Brad Hawpe’s inauspicious start with the Rays.

Hawpe is just the fourth player since 1900 to take the golden sombrero (4 SO) in his first game after changing teams.

Percentages be damned.  Maybe the skipper really should have let Rocco take that last at-bat, percentages be damned.
