Seems like Vincent LaGuardia Gambini became the managing editor of every major sports news outlet overnight and is now directing all the preview coverage for tonight’s tilt with the Yankees.

Tonight is the last regular season matchup between the Rays and Yankees.

The Rays are only 1.5 G back of New York in the standings.

A Rays win tonight gives them the tie-breaker with New York should the teams end the season with the same record.

David Price starts for Tampa Bay tonight.  He is a good pitcher.  (ESPN’s Tim Kurkijan even has one more story about Price reminding us that he hasn’t even scratched the surface of his ability.)

CC Sabathia starts for New York.  He is also a good pitcher.

Both teams modified their rotation so Price and Sabathia could face off one last time after their matchup last week was so epic.

All we seem to be missing is Mona Lisa Vito’s [thump] [thump] [thump] biological clock!
