The good people over at ESPN.com have invited me to hang out in the Baseball Tonight Live discussion room throughout all three of today’s games.

Come on over and join in the fun.

Please note, I will likely be in and out for most of the afternoon.  I am, after all, working here.

    Re: Rays vs Rangers

You need a better commentator on this game. When Ol Buck says that the Rays are in trouble if they lose this game. They only have 1 ace an 1 mediocre pitcher makes it had to come back.

Firstly, they don’t have the best record in baseball by only having 1 1/2 starting pitchers on the bench. Secondly, they have owned the series this year against the Rangers!

ESPN can do better than this with their commentators!

This might come as a surprise but, unfortunately, I don’t have a say in that decision. My advice to you is to listen to Andy and Dave on the Rays radio network. Those guys are awesome.

Buck Martinez is horrible…he doesn’t really know much about either team, evidence his ongoing blather during the game….deferring to cliches and moronic “expertise”. No sound tomorrow for sure.

and the Phillies game announcers weren’t much better….TBS running the show pretty much sucks.
