The Rays’ young stars are not the only people being negatively effected by the low attendance at recent home games.  First time authors camping out in local bookstores are also struggling.

The Time has this tragic story about Vince Naimoli’s failed book signing on 1A this morning.

JOHN PENDYGRAFT | St. Petersburg Times

Two things:

  1. I will definitely read this book.  But I have to find a way to do that without breaking my vow never to give Vince one red cent.  Hmmmm.
  2. If the Times didn’t mention the owner of Haslams in the story, I would have bet you money that Vince was just going around town, plopping a card table down in bookstores, and then daring the owner to kick him out.

  1. Bill says:

Did the bookstore charge him to park there?
