The New York media are helping the Yankees carry their bags of drama to the Trop.

The Post is worried about the Yankee rotation.  They went with a 6-man rotation so Phil Huges could get some extra rest, have to find a way to squeeze Andy Pettite back into the rotation, while also deciding if AJ Burnett can right the ship.  But, that shouldn’t be a big deal.  Pitching isn’t important during a stretch run…right?

ESPN NY notes that the aging Yankees seem to be having trouble with young athletic teams late in the season. Young and athletic?  Who does that sound like?

And everyone from Karl Ravech to The Post has an opinion on the slumping Yankee Captain.  Sounds like Jeter doesn’t think Girardi’s solution is going to fix things.
