We have a lot of fun here at The Ray Area because baseball is a fun game that, in the immortal words of Terrence Mann, lets us “walk off to the bleachers and sit in [our] shirt sleeves on a perfect afternoon. [We'll] find [we] have reserved seats somewhere along the baselines where [we] sat when [we] were children and cheered [our] heroes. And [we'll] watch the game, and it’ll be as though [we] dipped [ourselves] in magic waters. The memories will be so think, [we'll] have to brush them away from [our] faces.”
Unfortunately, there are children in our community who don’t have such fond childhood experiences. Ronderique Anderson, a 16-month old who died tragically, was among them. You can read more about Ronderique here. Please consider helping Voices for Children support and protect the abused and neglected children in our community. You can donate at the link or on the ad on the right side of this page.
