Not really a Rays post but, with all the complaining that goes on around town about the Rays being stuck in the toughest division in baseball, I thought I’d point out one particular silver lining.

It could be worse.  We could be in the NL East.

Why would that be bad?  Because we’d have to expose our players that moron Nyer Morgan.

Last night, he started this brawl with the Marlins.   Just last week, he took a cheap shot at Cardinals’ catcher Bryan Anderson and, shortly before that, he threw a baseball at a fan in Philadelphia.

Someone want to tell this clown that he’s got a .317 OBP and his team is 20 games under .500?

Hey. Nyjer.  No one cares about you.  Take your at-bats, ground out to second, and sit in the dugout.  You only exist because the Nats are required to put 9 guys on the field.

What were the odds last winter that Elijah Dukes would not be the craziest outfielder in Washington this season?

P.S. Note to Nyjer.  If you are going to be tough, at least win the fight.  You got pounded.
