Here is a shot from the upper deck of a deciding LDS game.

I guess we need to just contract the franchise, or demand a new stadium, or just move the team to a city that appreciates October baseball like Portland, San Antonio, or Central Connecticut.  Right?

What’s that?  It’s not the Trop?  Oh.  Well then nevermind, there is no reason to be alarmed that the Braves couldn’t sell out the final game in their manager’s incredible career.  Maybe if the Commissioner spent less time complaining about the  Rays’ attendance in late September he would have noticed this debacle in Atlanta.

And it’s not the first time Atlanta has balked in playoff baseball, either.

A friend of mine posted this as his Facebook status:

“I’m off for the rest of the postseason.
    Signed,
-The tarps over the seats of the Trop”

So far so good, 42k or so going tonight…including me. I feel like my bad omen jinx thing is over for the season…I was on the news from my going nuts at Ferg’s during Game 4 Sunday and we smoked ‘em. Yeah, it’s not like I was at the game, but I was pretty close to the Trop and we won…right?

For the record, I have people ready to pull me out by my ears if the Rays start struggling…guess watching from Ferg’s isn’t bad if we end up winning, right?

As long as you have a designated anti-jinxer, it is all good Merf. Send some pictures from the game or submit them to the facebook page and I will post them here.

Yeah Mark, I’ll send those when I get home from work today (and add the FB page).

    Obviously, I had no anti-jinx last night…
